Our 100mm (4 inch) very heavy duty industrial Polyurethane wheel castors with twin precision bearings are an excellent solution for industrial trolleys that weigh up to 2,400kg and roll on all surface types. The PU is of high grade and will not rot in oils or most industrial chemicals, it rolls easily, and is kind to floors. The precision bearings will provide very low rolling resistance.
The castor forks have great strength for very heavy industrial use. Because the top plate and main swivel race are of high tensile material this design has high strength-to-weight ratio and can take severe usage, especially when coupled with the Polyurethane wheels that will not damage floors.
The plate castors can be fastened by bolting the 114x163mm mounting plate using the four 14.3mm holes with 87x133mm hole centres. The turning radius of the swivel castors is 95mm and the turning radius for the wheel brake castors is 219mm. The total height from the floor to the top of these castor units is 143mm and each has a maximum rolling safety load rating of 600kg.
The Polyurethane wheels are 100mm diameter x 50mm tread width and have a 12.7mm bore x 60mm hub width and run on two precision bearings in the centre of the wheel.
