Light duty 65mm thermoplastic wheel castors are the best solution for hospital carts, small trolleys, light weight furniture, light duty tables and a variety of other items that weigh up to 200kg and travel longer distances. Thermoplastic is a softer material suitable for smooth concrete, tiles or lino vinyl floor surfaces.
The castor forks are zinc plate Core Coat finished with clear lacquer that provides best quality corrosion protection, with no white or red rust after 150 hours of salt spray testing. Suitable for use on stainless steel, chrome, aluminium, metal or wooden furniture when used in non corrosive environments. These feature two complete rows of balls in the headrace to ensure smooth swivelling and silence during the life of the castors.
Available in swivel and fixed plate mounting styles or 12.7mm bolt hole. You can also choose the total brake option on the swivel forks to stop the castors turning and rolling when braked.
The plate castors can be fastened by screwing the 83x58mm mounting plate using the four 9mm holes with centres 64x39mm. The bolt hole castors can be mounted using a single M12 bolt through the centre of the mounting hole.
The swept radius of the swivel castors is 63mm and the swept radius for the total brake castors is 89mm. The total height from the floor to the top of these castor units is 96mm and each has a maximum rolling safety load rating of 50kg per castor.
The wheels are 65mm diameter x 23mm tread width and have a 8mm bore x 30mm hub width and run on twin sealed ball bearings that make these more suited to rolling over long distances.
